Were you using xbox live or do you have it? If you do, the game automatically updated your system and loaded that option as a patch
but if you beat the campain and unlocked that, well that is cool

Wen I beat it there was no option to put bots on there and I completed the campaign how do you even get these options you have.

Im the same way I have beat campaign on hard medium and easy still no bots all my friends have it but don't remember how and FYI they don't have live or silver either so my guess is that it's a cheat or MOD

After you download the first update for Black Ops it will appear.

It's easy! Go to home screen ---> Select Multiplayer ---> Local ---> Split Screen ---> Edit Game Options ---> Enemies

Update the game with a internet connection, once that's done you get the options and bots for multiplayer.

You need to update the game to te latest patch. Then it will work

You need to download a patch from Xbox Live then the game option should be there. You don't need to complete the campaign.

To all those who are using Xbox 360,
If you guys are having trouble finding the "edit game options" menu, I foundbout the way to get them bots. First, you have to connect to your wifi. Second, use a profile that has an Xbox Live account (if you don't have then you need to create one). You just need to create an account, nothing else. Third, after logging in to that profile with Xbox Live account, go to the game. Last step, when the intro shows, something will pop open that states you need to update the game because if not you will be signed out of Xbox Live. After the update, you have your bots. Enjoy!

The way I got it was getting a connection then go online multiplayer then try to joina match it will say that you need a update.

For getting bot you need to go to multiplayer, and later go to split sceen option not the one above if not you wont have bots. Remmember, multiplayer, once there choose the option above xboxlive and it will show up 2 options choose the first one NOT the second one because the second one wont let you have bots

I completed the campaign and I don't have bots still. I'm just playing on disk and it just doesn't give me the option. When I had my old Xbox 360 I was able too, but not now
